Collies are renowned for their devotion to family and gentle nature. On our farm, these affectionate dogs thrive amidst the lively atmosphere of children at play and peacefully grazing cattle. Raised in a loving family environment, these playful and good-natured puppies are now eager to find their permanent homes. Our commitment goes beyond responsible breeding; we take pride in understanding each puppy's unique personality, ensuring a harmonious match with their future families.
In the summer of 2004, our daughter Lindsey's love for collies began. After researching dog breeds, she set her heart on a rough collie. Lindsey's Papa Don found an ad in the Daily Oklahoman for collie puppies in Hinton, Oklahoma. He visited the breeder and chose a puppy, though the owner was hesitant to sell until she had received all offers. Papa Don's cash-in-hand offer sealed the deal, and they brought the puppy home, nestled in Aunt Gay's lap for the entire trip.
Lindsey named her new companion Dixie Dawn (Don). She soon noticed how many people reminisced about their collie dogs. Inspired by Dixie's joy, Lindsey and her grandpa decided to share this love with others. They acquired a male collie, Sir Chase, who needed a new home.
In 2020, our last collie passed away, leaving Susan heartbroken and doubtful about getting another. To her surprise, I began searching for a new collie. We welcomed Alpha, a male puppy from Missouri, and soon after, Omega, a female from Tennessee. The two became inseparable companions. Tragically, Alpha was struck by a vehicle on our country road when he was just over a year old.
Grief-stricken, especially for Omega's sake, we decided to find her a new friend. We brought home Danny Boy from a breeder in Iowa to keep her company.
We've since moved to a new country home south of Beaver, Oklahoma. Now, we're excited to return to collie breeding. This time our 5-year-old granddaughter, Lawson, will have the joy of being involved with the process. Our goal is two-fold: to provide excellent collies to loving homes and to contribute to preserving the classic Scottish Collie breed.
Through Lawson's Lassies, we hope to continue our family's legacy of collie love and responsible breeding for years to come.
While still in 5th grade, Lindsey began her journey as a collie breeder. She later added another female, Hallie, to her small pack. Over the years, her two females and Chase produced six litters, with puppies finding homes across the country. One even went to College Station, Texas, leading us to wonder if it might have become one of the Reveille mascots.
Lindsey's breeding endeavors continued until her freshman year of high school when her busy schedule made it difficult to continue. The dogs then enjoyed their retirement on our farm in Forgan, Oklahoma, living to the age of 15.
Currently, our canine family consists of two adventurous souls: Danny Boy, our sweet male, and Omega, our intrepid female. These remarkable dogs have been our loyal companions on an extensive journey across the United States, exploring a multitude of National Parks. From the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone to the majestic peaks of Grand Teton and the stunning red rock formations of Zion, they've experienced the diverse beauty of America's natural treasures, along with countless memorable stops along the way.
When not embarking on cross-country adventures, Danny Boy and Omega find joy in the simple pleasures of farm life. They delight in playing with our grandchildren, adding to the lively atmosphere of our homestead. We're thrilled to announce that Omega is expecting her first litter, marking an exciting new chapter for our canine clan. We eagerly anticipate the arrival of these puppies, ready to welcome them into the warm embrace of our farm family.
Omega was born on September 9, 2021. She is the offspring of sire Twidle-de Tad from Sixpense to Voneida and dam Voneida's Honey Doll. Omega is a Tri-Factored Sable/White Collie with a strong-willed and leadership-oriented temperament. While loving towards her owners and warm in greeting people, she can display possessive behavior when she perceives Danny (the sire) receiving more attention. Omega enjoys playing with Danny, fetching balls, and going on walks and hikes.
Danny Boy, born on June 27, 2022, is a gentle and sociable dog with a loving disposition towards both people and other canines. He excels in social settings like dog parks and thoroughly enjoys playtime. While not specifically trained for activities such as herding, agility, rally, or service work, Danny Boy's favorite pastimes include playing, herding, and mimicking the behavior of his companion, Omega. His lineage traces back to Myatuc's Pride Sugar Bear Spanky as his sire and Kootenai Countess of Windy Acres as his dam.
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our newest furry family members! On October 1st, 2024, our beloved Omega gave birth to a beautiful litter of 9 healthy Collie puppies. This bundle of joy consists of 2 handsome boys and 7 lovely girls, each bringing their own unique charm to our home.

The Scottish Collie, often simply called the Collie, is a breed steeped in tradition and renowned for its intelligence, loyalty, and workability. Originating from the highlands of Scotland, these dogs have been an integral part of pastoral life for centuries.
Collies were developed in Scotland and northern England as herding dogs, primarily used for managing sheep. Their name likely derives from the Scottish Gaelic word "cùileag," meaning "useful." The breed gained widespread popularity in the late 19th century, partly due to Queen Victoria's fondness for them and their portrayal in popular culture, most notably in the "Lassie" novels and films.
The Scottish Collie embodies a perfect blend of tradition, intelligence, and workability, wrapped in a loyal and affectionate package. Whether working on a farm, competing in dog sports, or simply being a loving family companion, the Collie continues to prove why it has been a beloved breed for generations.
